Hello Columbus! Again!
I think I'm becoming an expert of Christopher Columbus after writing 2 or 3 essays on him in the last 2 weeks. The US History class is the kingdom of the witch-like teacher Barbie.
Barbie is very nice. She says she's 8000 years old, and I can even believe that, but anyway she's the highly energetic goddess of history at LCJ. I love watching and listening her shout "History is LIFE!!!" at least 10 times per class (with her saliva making it to my desk in the first row).
So she's passionate enough to give us one exam in the class time and 3 take-home essays (for each one, "more than 5 paragraphs would be sufficient"). Very GENEROUS you goddess.
So I say hello to you again, Columbus. Were you a hero or a villain? This is one of the topics of the essays, and I say Neither. History has to be examined only with an objective point of view, that's what I believe. But it's crazy that still today, we witness another versions of the New World everyday.
My weekend has been about the exploration. Pretty much that's it.
